Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia (FM) is a chronic pain illness. Symptoms can include

  • Widespread Pain
  • Fatigue
  • Sleep Disturbances
  • Impaired Memory and Concentration, also known as fibro fog.
  • Skin Sensitivities
  • Headaches

and many more...

The cause of FM is currently not known but researchers suspect physical or emotional trauma such as major illness, infection, surgery, accidents, or hormonal changes may be a factor. There is no known cure but there are ways to help ease your symptoms such as

  • Good Nutrition
  • Exercise, with your doctor's permission
  • Medications Such As Anti-Depressants, Muscle Relaxers, Anti-Epileptics, NSAIDs and other pain meds.
  • Relaxation techniques
